A new approach to high quality veterinary care
Our services
Stay with your pet
You are the best comfort for your pet, which is why Hello Vet is the first clinic in the UK designed to keep you and your pet together even when they need a procedure. You will be present when we prepare them for anaesthesia, allowing you to reassure them as they fall asleep, and be there with them as soon as they wake up.
Dentistry
Dental health is a crucial aspect of your pet's overall well-being. If left untreated, dental issues can lead to significant discomfort, which may result in inappetence, weight loss, and other health complications. At Hello Vet, we prioritise assessing the dental health of every pet during routine consultations.
Elderly pet care
It's essential to support your elderly pet, as it helps improve their quality of life. Old age varies across breeds, with larger breeds typically showing signs of ageing earlier than smaller ones. There are a few diseases that dogs and cats are more prone to as they get older: arthritis, dental disease, cataracts, kidney disease and diabetes.
Flea & worming
Caring for your pets with flea and worming treatments is crucial and forms an essential part of their routine healthcare.
Your kitten
No kitten is the same, and no client needs exactly the same support. We've designed our approach to reflect that. For every kitten, we provide a full course of vaccinations, microchipping and recommend that your kitten comes in for monthly treats and weigh-ins - providing good early experiences with vets delivers a heap of long term health benefits. On an individual basis we consider parasite plans appropriate to your pet's specific circumstances, rather than blanket treat every parasite every month. Our WhatsApp support means you can get in touch with your clinic team at any point when you have a question, or to tailor our care to your needs. Speak to us now if you'd like to discuss further.
Surgery, scans and imaging
Our clinical team has access to ultrasound and x-ray machines, so we can diagnose and monitor your pet's ailments. Quickly and safely.
Spaying and neutering
Deciding to have your pet spayed or neutered is an important choice, and it's essential to have all the information you need.
Your puppy
No puppy is the same, and no client needs exactly the same support. We've designed our approach to reflect that. For every puppy, we provide a full course of vaccinations, microchipping and recommend that your puppy comes in for monthly treats and weigh-ins - providing good early experiences with vets delivers a heap of long term health benefits.
Vaccines and boosters
Caring for your pets with annual vaccines is crucial and forms an essential part of their routine healthcare.
Veterinary nurse consultations
Our team of experienced registered veterinary nurses can support you with your pets well-being, both in person or for free via WhatsApp.
Out of hours care
We are open until 8pm on weekdays and until 12:30pm weekends for routine consultations and emergency care. When we are closed, we partner with an out-of-hours provider to ensure your pet has access to veterinary care 24 hours a day. This means that if you call us outside of our opening hours, our phone lines will automatically redirect you to Veteris, our out-of-hours provider located in Shoreditch.
Insurance
At our veterinary practice, we understand the importance of being prepared for unexpected medical expenses. It can offer peace of mind by covering costly treatments for accidents or illnesses, and some plans even help with routine care like vaccinations. However, it's important to be aware that most policies have exclusions, especially for pre-existing conditions, and often require upfront payments before reimbursing you. While insurance can be a great option, we recommend reviewing the details carefully to ensure it fits your needs and your pet’s health.
Animal Health Certificate
Travelling with your pet is great, but planning well in advance is essential to ensure the trip is stress free for you and your pet! Please note that when Hello Vet does this work we are acting as representatives of the government. We do not have any flexibility in the rules. For dogs and cats travelling to most European countries, you will need an animal health certificate issued by an Official Veterinarian (OV). Our practice has several OVs available to assist you with this.
Saying goodbye
Sadly, pets have shorter lives than us. Every pet's situation is unique to them and the family they share a home with. At a kind and appropriate time, when age, illnesses or injuries severely affect your pet’s quality of life, our team will guide you through preparing yourself, and your pet, to say goodbye.
