Services
Stay With Your Pet
You are the best comfort for your pet, which is why Hello Vet is the first clinic in the UK designed to keep you and your pet together even when they need a procedure. If you wish, you can be present when we prepare them for anaesthesia, allowing you to reassure them as they fall asleep, and be there with them as soon as they wake up.
Dentistry
Dental health is a crucial aspect of your pet's overall well-being. If left untreated, dental issues can lead to significant discomfort, which may result in inappetence, weight loss, and other health complications. At Hello Vet, we prioritise assessing the dental health of every pet during routine consultations.
Vaccines & Boosters
Caring for your pet with vaccines is crucial and forms an essential part of their routine healthcare. Vaccinating your pet helps protect them from serious diseases, promoting a healthier and longer life.
Neutering
Getting your pet neutered (spayed or castrated) is an important decision, and it’s essential to have all the information you need. If you have any questions or would like to book your pet in, feel free to contact us—we’re happy to discuss the best options for your pet at their current stage of life. We’ll talk you through what the procedure involves, the expected recovery time, any potential risks, and what to expect afterward, so you can feel confident in your decision.
Surgery
Our in-house vets have years of experience and can perform all routine procedures. For more complex cases, we work closely with specially trained orthopedic and soft tissue surgeons to provide advanced surgical care. This ensures that if your pet requires specialized surgery, they can receive the highest level of care in a familiar and supportive environment. All surgeries can be performed as a Stay with your pet, allowing you to remain with your pet right up until they go into surgery and to comfort them during recovery. This provides reassurance and support for both you and your pet during a stressful time.
Elderly Pet Care
Supporting your elderly pet can make a big difference to their quality of life. Old age varies across breeds, with larger breeds typically showing signs of ageing earlier than smaller ones. As dogs and cats get older, they can become more prone to certain health conditions, such as arthritis, dental disease, cataracts, kidney disease, and diabetes.
Puppy Care
Every puppy is unique, and each family’s needs are different. That’s why our approach is flexible and tailored. We offer every puppy a full course of vaccinations, microchipping, and recommend monthly visits for treats and weigh-ins, helping build positive experiences with the vet early on. Our approach to parasite treatments is based on your puppy's individual needs, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Kitten Care
Every kitten is unique, and each family’s needs are different. That’s why our approach is flexible and tailored. We offer every kitten a full course of vaccinations, microchipping, and recommend monthly visits for treats and weigh-ins, helping build positive experiences with the vet early on. Our approach to parasite treatments is based on your kitten's individual needs, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Flea & Worming
Warmer months especially bring a higher risk of fleas, ticks, and other parasites, so it’s a good idea to think about your pet's protection. Preventive care is safer, easier, and more comfortable for your pet than treating an infestation later on. For many pets, flea & worming treatments form an essential part of routine healthcare.
Cardiology
Our experienced vets can assess and manage a wide range of heart conditions, including murmurs, arrhythmias, and circulatory issues. If your pet shows signs like fainting, coughing, laboured breathing, or exercise intolerance, we can investigate potential heart involvement. For more complex cases, we work with visiting veterinary cardiologists who perform advanced diagnostics—such as echocardiograms, ECGs, and detailed assessments—right here in our clinic. This means your pet can access expert cardiac care in a familiar, supportive environment.
Ultrasound Scans
At Hello Vet, all of our vets are experienced in performing routine ultrasound scans. Our clinics feature state-of-the-art equipment, including Clarius handheld ultrasound devices for shorter, less complex cases. For more complex cases, we utilise our larger, advanced ultrasound system to ensure the highest level of detail and accuracy.
X-Rays Imaging
At Hello Vet, we have a dedicated X-ray room with digital radiography, which means we are able to capture high-quality images quickly to check for any orthopedic or soft tissue changes your pet might have. We can also send images to expert radiologists to make sure we’re giving your pet the best possible care.
Veterinary Nurse Consultations
Our team of experienced registered veterinary nurses can support you with your pets well-being, both in person or for free via WhatsApp.
Out Of Hours Care
Our hub clinics are open until 8 PM on weekdays, and until 12:30 PM on weekends for consultations and emergency care. For the times when we are closed, we partner with an out-of-hours provider to ensure your pet has 24-hour access to veterinary care.
Insurance
While we don't offer our own insurance, we work with providers and yourself to make sure insurance processes are as smooth as possible. Please read answers to some common queries below and reach out to chat if you have any further questions. We're happy to help.
Diagnostics
At Hello Vet, we offer a range of diagnostic services to help us better understand what may be affecting your pet’s health. These include x-rays, ultrasound, blood tests, faecal analysis, and more. When needed, we can carry out a diagnostic tests to build a clearer picture and guide the most appropriate and effective treatment for your pet. We know how worrying it can be when your pet isn't feeling their best, and we're here to support both of you every step of the way.
Routine Health Check
At Hello Vet, our dedicated veterinary team offers a comprehensive range of services to support your pet’s health at every stage of life. Routine health checks play a crucial role in making sure your pet is healthy and can offer peace of mind while also helping to identify any potential issues early on.
Travel with your pet
Travelling abroad with your pet is great, but does require essential processes and paperwork to allow you a smooth journey. Please note that when we do this work we are acting as representatives of the UK government, and do not have any flexibility on the rules and regulations. The work must be carried out by an Official Vet (OV) who has had specific further training in this area. Most of our vets are OV accredited, but please do specify your appointment is for travel when booking.
Saying Goodbye
Sadly, pets have shorter lives than us. Every pet's situation is unique to them and the family they share a home with. At a kind and appropriate time, when age, illnesses or injuries severely affect your pet’s quality of life, our team will guide you through preparing yourself, and your pet, to say goodbye.
